Harold Chambers

Harold Chambers is an award winning Audio Engineer and Producer with 20 years of experience in commercial and non-commercial broadcasting. During that time he has served as the Director of Operations and Production for WQXR/ NY Times Radio, Technical Director for the New York Philharmonic Live broadcast series, Engineer and Producer for the On-AiR series, Cleveland Opera broadcasts series, live concerts from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Carnegie Hall, Trinity Church, and numerous other NYC venues. He has also engineered international live broadcasts from Vienna, Prague, and the Lucerne Festival in Switzerland. Studio accomplishments included commercial production for clients including Carnegie Hall, The New York Philharmonic, Air France, Monaco, and Sony Picture Classics, as well as countless live studio performances and remote broadcasts for WQXR. Freelance Recording Engineer projects for labels including Koch International and Telarc, and television including HBO. Mr. Chambers holds degrees from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in Audio Engineering and Saxophone Performance. Currently residing in NY City he is an active freelance engineer and producer.
